iPad Nieuws: Hotmail support push e-mail, kalender, contacten met Exchange ActiveSync

Microsoft kondigt op haar Windows Live blog aan dat vanaf vandaag iPad en iPhone gebruikers hun Hotmail e-mail,  contacten en kalenders automatisch “gepushed” kunnen krijgen dankzij de nieuw in gebruik genomen Microsoft’s Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) technology.

Nu kan iedereen altijd up-to-date blijven, wijzigingen die worden aangebracht op het ene apparaat, Mac, PC, iPad, iPhone etc, worden automatisch doorgevoerd op je andere apparaten, ook die werken op iOS en dat is goed nieuws! Totaal worden er meer dan 300 apparaten gedekt door de nieuwe Hotmail push service, maar wie zeker wil weten of zijn/haar apparaat wordt ondersteunt, moet even de support list checken.

Maar omdat elk apparaat anders is, kijk ook even naar Windows Live Solution Center page on Active Sync setup.

Microsoft loopt wel iets achter de feiten aan, want Apple’s Mobile Me en Yahoo! mail hebben al langer deze push service draaien.

Music Library Quiz (for iPad) maakt van je iPad muziek bibliotheek een quiz

Muziekliefhebbers opgelet! Zin in een quiz over jouw favoriete muziek? De muziek die op jouw iPad staat? Het kan met Music Library Quiz (for iPad). Je kunt het spel alleen spelen maar ook tegen elkaar! Mocht je uitgekeken zijn op je eigen muziek library dan kun je ook kiezen voor vragen uit hun eigen muziekdatabase.

Dus test je muziekkennis, hoe heet dit nummer? Op welk album staat dit nummer? Van wie is dit nummer? Het lijkt mij een hele toffe game om op mijn iPad te hebben. Om de prijs hoef je het niet te laten, 79 centjes voor een app waar je altijd, alleen of samen, lol aan hebt en waar je ook nog wat van leert, is geen geld.

Starcraft 2 zal nooit speelbaar worden op je iPad, maar dit is een leuk alternatief. Ontwikkelaar Daniel Hellerman is bezig met de Starcraft 2 Gameboard app voor iPad en iPhone, een app om Startcraft 2 mee te bedienen. Je installeert een applictaie op je computer en deze synchroniseert met de app op je iApparaat, vervolgens kun je daarvandaan alles bedienen, erg handig als je tijdens een stevige skirmish ineens naar de WC moet om je pizza’s te bezorgen.

De app zal volgende maand in de app store te verkrijgen zijn, mits Blizzard de app niet om zeep helpt voor die tijd. Meer info hier.

Dolle maandag gaat gewoon vrolijk verder want wij hebben weer een app voor je die afgeprijsd is, ditmaal naar €0,00. iDestroy: Extinction HD is een game waarin je al je diep verborgen frustraties jegens insecten kunt botvieren, zo kun je een hek om wat spinnen heen zetten en een hek om wat wurmen, om deze vervolgens te verwijderen en toe te kijken hoe ze elkaar afmaken… Dolle pret!

Zoals de makers zelf zeggen: Kill and torture bugs! Een soort van Saw, maar dan met insecten, sja, ieder zijn ding, hij is in ieder geval gratis, maar dat duurt niet lang meer, dus wees er snel bij!

• Tap ANYWHERE on the left side of screen to control the left flipper and ANYWHERE on the right side to control the right flipper.
• Shake your iPad to realistically nudge the pinball table, but not too much or you’ll tilt.

Zombie Infection HD, dé horror surviaval game in de trend van Resident Evil voor je iPad is in de uitverkoop en niet zo’n klein beetje ook. Ontwikkelaar Gameloft heeft de prijs tijdelijk van €5,49 terug geschroefd naar €0,79. Ja dat lees je goed, ben je gamer en heb je deze game nog niet op je iPad dan is dit de uitgesproken kans, want deze game is de €5,49 al meer dan waard en voor deze prijs is hij dus echt een koopje.
