Als er een game op de iPad is waar we geen genoeg van krijgen is het wel Galaxy on Fire en gelukkig weet Fishlabs dat en zijn ze trouw aan hun fans want zojuist hebben zijn Galaxy on Fire 2: Supernova aangekondigd. Supernova is de tweede add-on voor deze succesvolle game (de eerste was Valkyrie, waar laatst nog een Full HD versie van aangekondigd is) en dit deel beloofd een hoop nieuwe features toe te voegen.
Een van de beloftes is een meer cinematischere game en dat is iets waar wij erg blij van worden, want daar ontbreekt het nog al eens aan op de iPad (sommige proberen het wel, maar de meeste falen hard). Deze tweede add-on beloofd ook nog eens 2x zo lang te zijn als Valkyrie, maar liefst 10 uur extra gameplay en ook dat is goed nieuws voor fans van de serie. ’Supernova will not only be more cinematic and more varied, but also at least twice as long as Valkyrie,’ says Fishlabs CEO Michael Schade. ‘We’ve put a lot of time and effort into the writing of the complex new storyline, which includes a lot of new mission types and makes for a truly outstanding gaming experience. But also the graphics and the sound design will be absolutely top-notch! When it comes to Supernova, the name really is the game!’
After the unravelling of the Valkyrie conspiracy, daily routine has returned to the Deep Science space station. Carla dreams of a quiet and idyllic life with her sweetheart Keith, but the restless space war hero is not ready to settle yet. Hence the desperate plea for help of an old friend comes right in time: A gigantic supernova, which seems to be of unnatural origin, threatens to destroy the whole Mido sector and its inhabitants.
In the course of Galaxy on Fire 2™ – Supernova, which promises more than 10 hours of action-packed gameplay, the gamer will not only meet again a lot of acquaintances such as the brilliant scientist Khador, the fierce weapons dealer Alice or the shady drug dealer Mkkt Bkkt, but also come to face a hitherto unknown faction and lay his hands on a vast number of new space ships, weapons systems and high-tech gadgets. More than ever, Supernova™ will focus on the delicate political tensions, which make the Galaxy on Fire universe a tenuous danger zone, which is about to crack apart at the factional seams any moment.
