Strategische boardgame ‘The Wars of the Roses’ nu ook op de iPad

Het huis van York, met de witte roos in hun wapen, en het huis van Lancaster met de rode roos strijd om het koningschap in dit strategische bordspel genaamd The Wars of the Roses. Speel je kracht-kaarten om de controle over grote, aaneengesloten gebieden te krijgen. Het sluwe gebruik van je helden zullen de plannen van je tegenstanders in de war schoppen en de kroon binnen je bereik brengen!

De game is voorzien van een uitgebreide introductie tot de regels voor zoewel beginners als veteraan bord-gamers. The Wars of the Roses kan worden gespeeld tegen AI tegenstanders, met vrienden via hot seat multiplayer, via Bluetooth of op het internet via Game Center. Leaderboards en achievements zijn uiteraard ook aanwezig.

Trailer Trash: Sonic CD en Infinity of God

Vandaag hebben wij wederom een erg fijne Trailer Trash voor je in de aanbieding met twee fantastische trailers. Ditmaal een nieuwe trailer van de iOS port van Sonic CD die morgen uit gaat komen en een trailer van een nieuw aangekondigde game genaamd Infinity of God. Deze laatste lijkt een soort God of War achtige game te gaan en in dat licht zou je kunnen denken, wat suf om Infinity en God in de titel te plaatsen en dan ben ik het met je eens. Desondanks ziet de trailer van de game er best aardig uit.

Automatic Download enabled for apps: automatische app updates in iOS5?

Gisteren vond een lezer van MacRumors een nieuwe feature op de iTunes update pagina die we wellicht in iOS 5 zullen terugvinden: automatische updates!

Het gaat om de volgende regel:

Or if your device has Automatic Download enabled for apps, your updates will download to your device without having to sync.

Automatische App updates lijkt me wel wat! Waarom moet ik eigenlijk handmatig aangeven dat ik wil updaten? Oke, als je een oude iOS versie hebt draaien omdat er bijvoorbeeld geen jailbreak is, kan het zo zijn dat je een app niet wil updaten, maar dan zetten we dez feature toch gewoon uit!?

Maandag weten we of automatische updates echt onze kant op komen, dan begint het WWDC, waarin Steve Jobs in zijn keynote presentatie ingaat op de nieuwe dienst iCloud, Mac OS X Lion en iOS5.
